Data We Collect

We collect personal data you voluntarily provide when submitting consultation requests, including: full name, email address, phone number, company name, project specifications, and budget range. We also collect standard web analytics data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) through functional cookies.

Purpose of Processing

Your personal data is processed exclusively for: (a) responding to your consultation inquiries, (b) delivering contracted digital services, (c) sending project-related communications, and (d) maintaining statutory financial records as required by French commercial law.

Data Retention

Personal data is retained for the duration necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected. Client project data is retained for 5 years following the conclusion of the commercial relationship, in accordance with French tax and commercial record-keeping obligations.

Your Rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to: access your personal data, rectify inaccurate data, request erasure of your data ("right to be forgotten"), restrict processing, data portability, and object to processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected].

Section 03 — Terms of Service

Terms of Commercial Engagement

Scope of Services

All digital services, software deliverables, and engineering advisory packages provided by DigitalStoryNetwork are governed by explicitly contracted Statements of Work (SOW) executed between the Client and DigitalStoryNetwork. Services include but are not limited to: commercial portal engineering, conversion funnel architecture, cloud workflow orchestration, digital transformation consulting, API integration, brand identity systems, analytics pipelines, SEO optimization, and SLA maintenance retainers.

Intellectual Property

Upon complete settlement of all agreed commercial invoices, DigitalStoryNetwork assigns all worldwide intellectual property rights in the client-specific software deliverables, design tokens, source code, and digital assets directly to the Client. Pre-existing frameworks, libraries, and tools used during development remain the property of their respective owners.

Payment Terms

Invoiced amounts are due within 14 calendar days of invoice date unless otherwise specified in the SOW. Late payments incur a statutory interest rate of 3× the ECB base rate plus 8 percentage points, in accordance with EU Directive 2011/7/EU on late payments in commercial transactions. DigitalStoryNetwork reserves the right to pause project delivery for accounts overdue beyond 21 days.

Project Modifications

Any changes to the originally agreed project scope, deliverables, or timeline must be documented in a written change order signed by both parties. Additional work beyond the original SOW scope will be quoted separately and billed at the applicable hourly or fixed-rate published in the Client's service agreement.

Liability Limitation

DigitalStoryNetwork's total aggregate liability under any engagement shall not exceed the total fees actually paid by the Client for the specific service giving rise to the claim. DigitalStoryNetwork shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, data loss, or business interruption.

Section 05 — Refund Policy

Refund & Reimbursement Policy

Cancellation Before Work Begins

If a Client cancels a project before any substantive work has commenced (defined as within 48 hours of SOW execution), DigitalStoryNetwork will issue a full refund of any advance payments received, minus a non-refundable administrative fee of €50 to cover banking and processing costs.

Cancellation During Active Development

If a Client cancels a project after work has commenced, DigitalStoryNetwork will retain payment for all work completed up to the date of cancellation. A detailed time log and deliverable summary will be provided. Any advance payments exceeding the value of completed work will be refunded within 14 business days.

Deliverable Disputes

If a Client disputes that delivered work meets the specifications defined in the SOW, DigitalStoryNetwork will, at its discretion: (a) remediate the deliverable to meet the agreed specifications at no additional cost, or (b) issue a partial refund proportional to the undelivered or non-conforming portion of the work. Disputes must be raised in writing within 14 days of deliverable handover.

SLA Retainer Refunds

Monthly SLA maintenance retainers may be cancelled at any time with 30 days' written notice. No refund is provided for the current billing period in which cancellation is submitted. All active SLA obligations and response guarantees remain in effect until the end of the current paid billing cycle.

Refund Processing

All approved refunds are processed within 14 business days via the original payment method. DigitalStoryNetwork will confirm the refund initiation by email to the Client's registered contact address. Banking delays beyond this period are outside DigitalStoryNetwork's control.
